Love Your Lake events

Big Sandy Lake Association’s Annual Love Your Lake event is offered free for the public.  The event takes place each year in May at MN National Golf Club.  Members are invited to come together for a complimentary breakfast and to listen to a presentation by guest speakers all centered around the idea of How to be a Good Lake Steward.  Recent subjects have dealt with Water Quality and Shoreline Management, Septic System Do’s and Don'ts, and any news on Aquatic Invasive Species is presented every year.  Current “Hot Topics” for members always inform the theme of the event. 

The 2026 Love Your Lake event will be held at Minnesota National Golf Course on Saturday May 2, 2026, check-in starts at 8:30am, breakfast buffet starts at 9:00am, and the event starts at 9:30am.  The topic is "Best Practices for Septic Systems".  Seating is limited so reserve your spot with an RSVP to inbox@bslamn.org.
